Now the government will give incentives to your old freeze, AC, washing machine, etc. Earlier, steel scrapage policy was for cars or vehicles only, but now it has included AC, freeze and washing machine.
The special thing about this policy is that the government will provide incentives on selling scrap. This means that as much as the value of the scrap goes out, the government will have a separate incentive.
Meanwhile, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a draft to open an authorized Vehicles Scraping Center in the country. It will also be known as the vehicle junk center.

There are some guidelines that need to be followed to open this center. Licenses can be obtained either individually or through a firm, society or trust. The Central Pollution Control Board will also have to get approval for this. Permanent bank account number and GST registration will be required to open the vehicle junk center and CCTV cameras will be installed in the center yard.
